Jack Murray
A Seattle-based Boeing assembly line worker, Jack Murray raced often and well in a variety of cars. His oval racing background gave Jack a fearless and aggressive approach, which he expressed in cars ranging from a Triumph TR2 to a 1957 Corvette to a gull-wing Mercedes to his Ford-powered Sniddley Special. He is probably best remembered for his years with Morgans, where he dominated Class E production and rode high in the small cars, Jack was well over six feet tall. Jack was active as a Puget Sound Sports Car Club officer and was always ready to pitch in to help with any situation on the track or in the pits. Jack drifted away from racing in the mid-60s and his whereabouts are unknown today.
